NOTES.

A few notes:

  • Harvest Home should be calling me within the next week. If so, we'll have our major project for January...and it'll be different from most of our previous projects.
  • Scrapbook meetings will be moved to FRIDAYS. There's been a lot of confusion about the actual date of scrapbook meetings, mostly because of 1) bad planning, 2) bad communication, and 3) breaks. We have to get the scrapbook done by Convention, which is in April, so e-mail me at blue_waffle@sbcglobal.net if you have any questions (or if you're interested in helping).
  • If you would like to be on the new board (or if you're even considering a position), please let the President or VP know within the next couple of weeks.
  • This blog needs a new layout with different colors. Suggestions?

Have a nice day!

/-^-\ Just so everybody knows. dues are $10 this year for membership.  Members will recieve an official members-only card, a Key Club pin, and the KeyNoter, the Key Club magazine, will be mailed directly to your house.  Make sure we have all of your personal information, so we can sign you up with no problems.

/-^-\ Fall Rally, which is at Magic Mountain on November 13th, will cost $26 for everyone that wants to go.  Remember, you can invite people that aren't Key Clubbers to join us as long as they pay by the deadline and are willing to get very spirited.  Of the cost, $21 will go to Pediatric Trama Prevention, PTP, and the other $5 will go to the cost of the bus.

This is a revised version of the agenda for September 23rd, 2004. I don't have a copy of this week's agenda right now, but the events are basically the same:

[BUILDERS CLUB]

~MORE INFO TBA IN OCTOBER~

Questions (and comments, and concerns) are welcome. All the board members' AIM screennames are listed to the right, so don't hesitate if you're confused about something here.

Extra Notes:
Dues: Remember your dues! They help to fund Key Club International, and they allow us to provide each of our members with a copy of the
Keynoter, which is the official magazine of Key Club International. Okay...maybe that's not much of an incentive. Well, unless you get your dues in (and how difficult is it to obtain $10, anyway?), you aren't an official member of Key Club--- even if you attend all of the events. And if you aren't an official member, you can't put it on your college application, either.
Spirit Chants: At Fall Rally (which I know a lot of people are interested in) and the 2005 Cali-Nev-Ha Convention (which is also a lot of fun), you're going to have to recite the wonderful/dreadful "How do you feel?" chant, along with the Key Club International Pledge, and a bunch of other things. You can find the words to the main ones right here. Have fun.
Medical Release Forms: You need to fill out a medical release form if you're planning to go to any of the really big events (or even Fall Rally). If you don't get one at the next meeting, just print one out.

REMINDERS FOR BOARD MEMBERS:

¯ What is the exact amount of money needed for Fall Rally?

¯ There is a board meeting this Saturday at Stephen's house, starting at 3:30 PM.

¯ If there's anything else you need to get across to the club, just post it here. All of you have author's rights (and if you don't, remind me to send you an invite)!

From now on, this blog will be updated at least once per week.
